2Google Drive/Dropbox/OneDrive Support (Remote Locations)
Separate from their managed cloud apps (already supported), which must be installed per-provider and mirror remote files to the disk — this would entail implementation of each provider's bespoke protocol through Cosmil's remote location abstraction (true remote access).

3Amazon S3 Support (Remote Locations)
Full support for the Amazon S3 protocol in remote locations.
Archive Browsing
Support for read-only inline archive browsing (that is, without extracting it first), just like a normal folder. Support for extracting individual files/selections directly out of archives.
Bulk Rename
A comprehensive bulk rename system that facilitates performing sequential operations—complex (e.g. regex), or simple—with a preview before committing. Potentially support for a macro builder/textual templating, and other useful/intuitive features.

2Saved Workspaces
The ability to easily save a currently active workspace (panes, tabs, layout, etc.) for later and reopen it from the sidebar or elsewhere.

8Remote Location Support
Feature complete support for SFTP, FTP, FTPS, SMB 2/3, and WebDAV. This includes as many normal functions as each protocol can support (e.g. viewing directories, transferring files, deleting, etc.). Support for previewing and supporting editing files locally and then re-uploading.
Durable Resumable Transfers
Rework the transfer system to (opportunistically) let users recover interrupted transfers due to incidental resets, an app/system crash, or other intrusion. This also includes support for pausing/resuming running transfers and resuming canceled transfers. This should also include new internal transfer provisions that protect against data-loss as much as possible. Transfer performance should be preserved as close to the pre-existing Cosmil baseline as possible.
Automatic LAN/NAS Discovery
Automatic discovery and browsing of servers being advertised on the local network through a dedicated Network view.
Managed Cloud Provider Support
Display installed cloud providers (e.g. iCloud, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.) in the sidebar. Inline file sync status (evicted, downloaded) and inline upload/download progress bars.
Theming
Complete customization of Cosmil's color palette with the ability to save themes as presets and share them.
Status Bar
A status bar at the bottom of each file pane that displays information about the current directory, selected files, and current disk usage/total size.
Show Used/Total Space of Mounted Volumes
In the sidebar's volumes section, each volume should show information about the used and total disk space it has.
Custom Timestamp Formatting
Customizable timestamp formatting (for list view, file info in the preview pane and file conflicts, etc.) in preferences. Presets as well as powerful custom templates.
